Monitors
SSL & domain expiry
Get warned before certificates and domain registrations lapse.
Both are per-monitor add-ons on paid plans, toggled in the monitor's Settings under Add-ons. They run daily (plus once right after enabling), separate from the uptime check cadence.
- SSL certificate
- Reads the certificate served by the monitor's host and records the expiry date. You choose the warning window, 1 to 90 days (default 14).
- Domain registration
- Looks up the registrable domain via RDAP, with a WHOIS fallback for country TLDs RDAP misses. Warns 30 days before expiry.
- Expiry warnings send once per approach, then re-arm automatically after you renew.
- Some registries (for example
.roand.de) never publish expiry dates; the card explains when that is the case. - Expiring certificates and domains also surface in the dashboard's needs-attention panel.
